You can use personal photo postcards to send a unique note on a postcard for anything from expressing love to saying hi to you teacher.
So what do you say on your postcard ?
Your advantage is postcards do not have much room to write on in the first place. So send something with an interesting picture...which you can use to elaborate what you say. Try to mention something in the picture that relates to the person you are sending your card to.
Probably just a few sentences will suffice. Here is a possible example...

Dear ____ ,
I had some time so I decided this was a perfect time to send you a postcard. The weather has been pretty good, so I have been able to see a lot while I've been here.
The picture on the front is one of the places I visited. It reminds me of the time we ..... There are alot of people doing that here now. Maybe we can go and do that together again when I return..
Anyway, there isn't much space on the card. Hope you enjoyed it.
